Day Care Educators hold diplomas in Early Childhood Education. They are responsible for planning and implementing age appropriate activities for children aged 18 months to 5 years to foster their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. They also nurture positive relationships between parents and children.
Resource Teachers hold diplomas in Early Childhood Education, as well as an additional Resource Teacher Certification. They support children with special needs by working with the child, the family, and other educators to develop individual programming and treatment plans. These plans are carried out on a daily basis in the day care setting.
